Our students perform market research, look up leads, and can even design mobile apps for clients. Additionally our students build tools and templates to save organizations time and make it easier to launch.
If your business or nonprofit organization needs flex desk space as well as a place to meet clients, hold events, and host teleconferences, then our basic membership could be right for you. With this membership you get access to the co-lab flex desks, conference rooms. Additionally, you can take part in the work sessions and access the online resources of the Co-Lab.

OSU Advantage is teaming up with the OSU-Cascades Co-Lab to offer a free accelerator course for startups in Bend, Oregon. Iterate is a course that helps entrepreneurs determine whether there is a market for a product before the entrepreneur spends significant time, money, and resources.
ACCELERATOR COURSE: ITERATE
Mondays from June 24 - July 15
5:00 to 7:00 PM
ITERATE is designed to consider a business idea and explore its viability as a concept and potential startup.
Startup teams will leave the course with the following:
- A determination that they have achieved Problem/Solution Fit
- A value proposition to test against customers
- An understanding of the customer discovery process
- Actual, real-world feedback from customers that can be used for building the right product and pitching to investors
- Knowledge of their Total Available Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM), and Initial Target Market (TM)
- An understanding of the Business Model Canvas to start developing their business plan
- Teams will leave the session ready to move forward with their idea

Work with Students
Our service-learning program provides OSU-Cascades students with an opportunity to get career experience. These interns do market research, generate leads, create videos, build mobile apps, and tackle a number of real-world tasks. Through this initiative, the Co-Lab helps the innovators of today while training the innovators of tomorrow.
Work with Mentors
Our Mentors-in-Residence (EIRs) have in-depth experience with building a product, selling it, and growing their company. These subject matter experts come into the Co-Lab to advise, educate, and work with new entrepreneurs. Mentors host office hours every month and hold workshops.
Work with Co-Lab Staff
With over 10 years of experience in startup acceleration, small business development, and technology transfer, our Executive Director is an expert at building initiatives that support innovators, entrepreneurs, funders, and their communities. Co-Lab members can reserve time with the Executive Director to get help with building their products and services via the Membership Dashboard.
Our members have raised $3.6M since March 2018 to build their dreams.
